After several years being out of touch with Allan's brother and his family, we called them up and let them know that we'll be in his area. Interestingly enough, a week before Allan's contact, Michael was wondering where we are and what we've been up to. Coincidence???
After not seeing them for so long, we were so delighted to visit them again. It just seemed like yesterday that we last saw each other. Of course all the babies and toddlers are now grown men and women. Go figure!

| We were totally spoiled by them. We ate and ate and ate some more! Penelope, the Pfuntner Chef, home cooked us meals, and daughter Kazia (now engaged to Chris) was our Barista and she made delicious Pfuntner special coffee's. Son Matt & wife Lindsey met all of us at a Brazillian restaurant where we once again ate ourselves silly. Unfortunately son Noah & wife Ashley weren't present as they reside in PA, so we did not see them. It was really interesting to see so many Pfuntners all at once. Of course we had to check out Chef Penelope's Catering Service, and the new & old warehouses. We also were treated to a novel breakfast at the 'voted as best family restaurant in Nashville' Pfunky Griddle, founded by Penelope. The Pfunky Griddle had babies and there are now two Pfunky Griddles owned and operated by Matt, the oldest son. True to the P..Funtner name... everything had to start with a 'P'...., the restaurant name, the menu, the signs, the specials... too funny! |
While we were there, we were also treated to a Home Team Hockey Game. The Nashville Predators were playing against the Tampa Bay Lightning! It was a fantastic game...ending in overtime which had to be extended to a 'shootout'. At the end, after the shootout, the Predators won by 1 goal! Exciting!
