Incident Timeline 07/04/1947 - Mac Brazel, rancher on the Foster Ranch (75mi NW of Roswell), heard a loud noise, different from the thunder. The tower at the Army/Air Force Base observed and reported a 'descending flash" that they tracked on radar. 07/05/1947 - Brazel discovered a debris field 300 yards wide and 3/4 mile long. He picked up 'stuff'. 07/06/1947 - Brazel took the 'stuff' to Sheriff Wilcox in Roswell. Wilcox called Intelligence Officer J. Marcel. |
07/07/1947 - Brazel and Marcel investigated the debris site on the ranch. Marcel showed the 'stuff' to his boss, Col. Blanchard.
G. Dennis the mortician in town received a call from Roswell Army Airfield (RAAF) inquiring about child-size caskets. They also inquired regarding preservation techniques for bodies that had been exposed to the weather.
G. Dennis saw 'strange stuff" in the back of ambulances when he took an airman to the base hospital.
07/08/1947 - Marcel took the debris to Ft. Worth. Gen. Ramey spread the debris on the floor of his office, told Marcel to step out and when Marcel returned the debris magically turned into 'weather balloon' debris. Marcel was told to keep his mouth shut!
G. Dennis met with a nurse friend from the hospital and she drew what she saw on the examining table. She was transferred to England the next day and was declared dead soon thereafter.
07/09/1947 - Gen. Ramey issued a press release to state that: The Saucer Story is just a Weather Balloon! In the mean time, Henderson flew the alien bodies (that he saw) from RAAF to Wright Patterson AFB, OH or maybe Denver, CO or even Ft. Worth, TX. Who knows?
