Next on our agenda was the Big Cypress National Park, where we spotted some Manatees.

Unfortunately, we didn't see much here as most of the trails were under water and we would need a canoe or a boat to navigate around all the marshlands. Since the weather was not cooperating and both Allan and I have been to the Everglades many times, we decided to go North again. |
Since we didn't see too many Manatee's at the Big Cypress National Park, we went further North where we found out that an electric generating plant's discharge water created a nice warm water environment for these amazing animals. Manatee's by the hundreds come here and have their spa day. This was a must see and amazed we were. See for yourself.
