If you've followed our blog, you know that we are fair weather travelers. Hey, no need to push the envelope! There is no shame in wanting mother nature to be on your side. That said, I'll confess that we took longer overwintering in Florida & Washington than we had originally planned. Not that we plan much, but we thought that we'd be farther north by now. However, mother nature had a plan for us and that is to bore you with all my oohs and aahs about all the absolutely beautiful flowers that only Spring can bring in the Pacific Northwest. Besides the spectacular flowers in the small town of Ballard, WA, where we stayed while visiting Erin & John Paul, we also went to the Skagit Tulip Festival in, of course, Tuliptown, north of Anacortes, WA. I'll only showcase a few pics here. The rest of our collection of these spectacular flowers can be found on our 'Wild Life & Flowers' page. Check it out!
