Life in the Pacific Northwest doesn't stop when the clouds are looming overhead, or when rain is pelting against the windowpanes, but when the sun shine.... life explodes... People come out like ants crawling out of ant holes, farmer markets are crowded with flowers, produce and all sorts of yummy food, dogs walkers with their packs are crowding the parks and beaches, and whenever there's a sunny spot, someone is sitting in the sun basking in the sun rays... soaking up all the vitamin D they've lost during the winter months. Below are some snapshots of the first days of Spring in and around the Puget Sound, Gig Harbor, historical Ballard, the Locks at Ballard, Edmond and, of course, Shilshole where Clarity is slipped.
